Privacy and comfort
at the front of the home.
For this Indio project, the work focused on the home’s front windows. Daytime privacy, heat protection, and protection from UV were the priorities.
Window film was the way to address those goals on the existing glass. We installed Lunar 20 across the front windows shown in the project photos.
Lunar 20,
on the existing windows.
Lunar 20 was the film used for this installation. Geoshield describes the film as an architectural option with a neutral gray tone, solar heat control, and UV protection. See the manufacturer’s Lunar film information ↗
The photos below show this installation from both sides of the glass. They’re a useful starting point for discussing the appearance you want for your own home.
A more comfortable home.
More daytime privacy.
After installation, we observed that the home felt significantly cooler. The film also provided daytime privacy for the front windows, with UV protection as another benefit of the installation.
Planning for privacy
Daytime privacy depends on the light on each side of the glass. When it is dark outside and lights are on indoors, film does not provide the same privacy. Consider blinds or curtains for those hours, and tell us when privacy matters most to you.
Start with your windows.
Tell us your city, which windows you want to tint, and whether your priorities are heat, glare, daytime privacy, or appearance. We’ll discuss suitable options for your glass.
